Shoothill welcomes new software developer

Shoothill are excited to announce the arrival of a new software developer, Luke Askew.

Luke has been coding for 8 years and having worked at Openreach as a network engineer for over 4 years, and as a student mentor over the lockdown period, Luke’s enthusiasm for computing is indisputable. Luke is currently in his last year at university and is predicted to graduate with a 1st in computing.

Luke’s skills are welcomed by Shoothill and its team of talented developers. The addition of Luke is another huge leap forward for the company, investing in its future. Within the last 7 months, Shoothill’s workforce has expanded by 15%.

Luke is now the fifth employee at Shoothill under the age of 23. Shoothill, being an ambassador for the Ladder for Shropshire campaign at the Shropshire Star, has heavily invested in young people over the years.

We are grateful to have Luke join us, and we cannot wait to see what the future has in store.
