We are extremely proud to announce that we have been nationally recognised as a UK Business Hero as a result of our work regarding PPE Exchange, having been nominated by Shropshire Chamber of Commerce.
This morning, Shoothill received a message of support from HRH The Countess of Wessex, who has congratulated Shoothill and other nominated businesses on our positive contributions and wishing us every success for the future.
The British Chambers of Commerce launched the Business Heroes campaign to recognise the incredible work that UK businesses are doing in these challenging times. This is their way of paying tribute to these businesses that have gone the extra mile to support local communities during the Coronavirus outbreak. You can learn more about the award here.
Rod Plummer, Managing Director of Shoothill commented: “We are incredibly honoured to have been nationally recognised as a UK Business Hero this year and delighted that we were able to use our software skills to create PPE Exchange at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak. This comes on top of the recent Chamber Champion Awards held earlier this year where Shoothill won the ‘entrepreneurial Spirit’ award and this recognition is the icing in the cake. We are all very proud that we can say ‘we did our bit’ to help out during this time of national crisis”.
