Shrewsbury Town has taken a major step forward in its digital transformation with the launch of Salop1, a new integrated platform that brings together the club’s website, supporter engagement and commercial operations.
Developed by Shrewsbury-based digital technology specialists Shoothill, Salop1 replaces the club’s previous digital infrastructure and creates a single connected system for managing online content, fan communications and commercial activity.
The new platform has been designed to improve the experience for supporters while providing the club with a more streamlined and efficient way of managing its digital and business operations.
The Salop1 platform now supports:
· A modern new website experience
· Supporter engagement and communications
· CRM and commercial systems
· Video, streaming and digital content integration
The launch continues the significant long-term partnership between Shoothill and Shrewsbury Town, with the platform designed to scale with the club and support its future commercial and digital ambitions.
Shoothill’s IT Services team has been supporting the club since September 2024, and the delivery of Salop1 represents the next step in that growing relationship, reflecting the trust between both organisations.
Simon Jeavons, Group Managing Director at Shoothill, said:
“This has been a hugely exciting project for us. Shrewsbury Town is a massive part of the local community and being able to modernise and unify the club’s digital assets is something we’re incredibly proud of.
“Salop1 isn’t another website project, it’s a long-term digital platform that will underpin how the club operates digitally and interacts with fans for years to come.”
Liam Dooley, CEO of Shrewsbury Town FC, added:
“We’re delighted to have worked with Shoothill on this project.
“Their local roots, technical capability and understanding of our commercial objectives made them the right partner for us.
“Salop1 gives us a modern, scalable platform that significantly enhances how we engage with supporters and partners.”
Shoothill has delivered the platform using a bespoke cloud-based architecture, providing full ownership, flexibility and ongoing development capability for the club.
The Salop1 platform went live on June, 15, 2026.
